"Give us this day our daily bread...."
I found this at the thrift store for a couple bucks. As an artist (that still feels REALLY weird to say), I feel as though I leave a little bit of myself in anything I make. Thus, it is no surprise I am a sucker for handcrafted things like this at thrift stores or sales. Someone, at sometime, spent many hours stitching these words. We, the artists, don't invest the hours for glory or profit, but because we are called to create and share our gifts, creating tangible pieces that speak to who we are and where we have come from.
