Day 205
There are some days I can not believe how lucky I am to be doing what I love. I had the honor of doing Rose's Senior photo shoot tonight, and this girl nailed it! She exudes beauty and light, and will take the world by storm. I am so thrilled to have been able to capture her essence.

Day 204
I am SO happy when I get to be HAPPY for people I care about!!!
Penny and Bryan have worked SO hard to transform a dated and lifeless space into a beautiful chic boutique in my town! Better yet, her clothes FIT!! I have linebacker shoulders and yet everything I tried on, actually fit.
I met Penny over 25 years ago, and I couldn't be more happy and excited for her and her vision transformed to reality! So happy, Penny gets three photos of the day!!!

Day 203
We both participated in something way outside our comfort zone today: an all-day dance convention. I found out last night I would be dancing, and was more than apprehensive about it. I am so proud of her for overcoming her fear of the unknown, and unfamiliar, which for her arehuge fears. I'm not going to be able to walk or move tomorrow after five hours of dancing with absolutely amazing dancers, but am glad I did it. Now where is the ibuprofen...

Day 202
When I find myself in the storms of life, my faith guides me. This summer has brought me opportunities I never saw coming, or was prepared for, but I believe it has all been brought to me as the plan set out for me.
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord." Jeremiah 29:11.
I'm sure someone knows. :)

Day 201
My dear Daughter...
May you always take chances, even when they are frightening.
May you have faith and trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be, even if it doesn't make sense.
May you understand that life is what happens when you are making other plans.
Love,
Mom

Day 199
This evening I got to try something I have never done before: kayaking! My friend Beth invited me along and it was absolutely fabulous. I saw turtles, geese, a heron, a muskrat, and this gigantic beaver. I was quick enough to get a shot as it entered the water, and proceeded to give us a very perturbed slap of his tail. The river was absolute glass and the serenity was so amazing. I can not wait to try it again!
