Day 271
Its that time of year when the river becomes mystical. Warm days and cool nights create dreamy morning with the fog rising off the water as the sun begins to climb. I cross this river many times a day and it is constantly changing.

Day 270
Another awesome senior shoot today! Tyler exuded that quiet, gentle ruggedness with just a hint of a sly smile. His Mom was along and it was a great time with both inside and and outside shots, complete with some with his rocking VW bug! Thanks Tyler and JoAnn for an allowing me to photograph you in my images!!

Day 268
Makenna Taylor avoids a flag pull to score the winning touchdown for the Senior Ladies! The Junior/Senior Powder-Puff game was hard fought and there was nothing fluffy about these ladies!! Tonight kicked off Homecoming week in Valley City and it is sure to be a fun week!

Day 267
That moment when the church president (me) has instructed the balcony crew (That I refer to as the bleacher creatures) to chant and wave "Big Heads" as our Pastor steps up to his final sermon after 42 years of service.
Randy, you will be missed. But enjoy, heartily, this next chapter of you life. Thank you for teaching us humor, Jesus and church all go together well!

Day 266
Despite the dreariness of the day, these two glowed.
Married earlier in the month in Las Vegas, they celebrated with friends and family this evening.
Congrats Britt and Riley! May you have many, many wonderful years together!!

Day 265
Quiet solitude of an empty sanctuary.
I was out of town on a shoot and wandered about the church in which I was working.
The silence spoke to me and the symmetry was beautiful.

Day 264
She said her hands were "gnarly." I told her, I begged to differ. I saw hands that had so many stories. They were hands that have held and cared, created, worked, caressed and loved.
This all made me realize I have photographed quite a few hands, and I think I have discovered what my project next year will be. To me, hands are a rather intimate storybook of ones lives. We can hide our ages in our faces, but our hands usually do not lie.
I look forward to how this seed of vision will develop...
