Athletics in our town are unique. We are too small to compete with the big dogs and too big to compete against the small dogs. Someone told me we are the "demilitarized zone" of North Dakota athletics. However, that hasn't stopped this team from fighting and scrapping their way to a 2nd place Eastern Dakota Conference place, 3 All Conference Team members, a state tournament berth, and Jill Taylor being voted EDC Coach of the year! Congratulations to all the HiLiner Ladies and coaches, and watch out State!

LIGHTS! CAMERA! AUCTION!
Was the theme of this years St. Catherine's School auction. I got to play the paparazzi as beautifully dressed people arrived to the event. I love how people come out, in this town, to support causes!

Veterans Day Program at Washington Elementary. What a beautiful tribute to all those who made the choice to serve this country of ours. The children vowed to never forget the sacrifices they gave and to live a life worthy of what the flag represents. Proud of these young people today.

With a frosty mane, he stood regally and let me photograph him. His hair has growth thick and woolen, and ice crystals cling to him. Steam rises from his nose as he breaths. He is such beauty against the icy cold hillside. Animals in the winter months in this state amaze me.

Individually, they are so incredibly beautiful and intricate. They are delicate and fragile. Masses of them together can be overwhelming and powerful, affecting whatever area they touch.
As with like-minded people. Individually they are unique and beautiful. Together they can make amazing changes and contributions to whatever they put their minds to.
Surround yourself with your people; those that understand and get you. Together you will be the changes you wish to see.

This beautiful family braved the cold for family photos today! The snow didn't stop us from getting some wonderful photos, especially with the promise of hot cocoa in the future! Thank you Erin and Luther for asking me to capture your family!!
