Day 337
How does this happen?
One minute he is a smiley blonde bobble-head bouncing in an exersaucer...
The next he is standing a good few inches above me.
I blinked.
I swear that is all I did...

Day 336
Another amazing moon rise over the plains of North Dakota. I only have 29 days left of my project and I can't believe I have made it this far. The whole project has made me take notice of the things around me; the beauty that exists in the everyday, and every evening.

Day 335
My Son and the rest of Boy Scout Troop 560 help kick off the holiday season in the Holiday Light parade this evening. "Santa's Helpers" help spread the Christmas spirit!

Day 334
This is the face of someone who knows his Mom is going to take away his treasure he scrounged up somewhere....
Sometimes the things we want, are not the things that are good for us...
or our tummies,
or the new carpet....

Day 333
She had her first Girls Night Out with her Auntie and her Mom. Dinner and the Ballet were the plans. We watched the Moscow Ballet perform The Nutcracker at the Fargo Theatre, and it was amazing! What a fun evening!

Day 332
Just as I'm feeling, "What in the world I am going to photograph today?" as I race against the fading sunlight (again...) I see her running in the field along the road.
She was keeping pace, and as I abruptly slowed, so did she. She was as curious about me, as I was her. She has been one of the lucky ones this fall, not taken by bullet or fender.
Thank you sweet girl, for giving me a moment of unexpected life and beauty in the midst of this craziness of my current life.

Day 331
It was dark before I even had time to grab my camera today, so long exposures were the only thing to play with tonight.
What amazes me, is that at dark, there are no colors visible. It is just black and moonlight... but as time elapses, the colors, rich in hue, come out. This shot yields deep blue, orange, and white, where all I could see with my eye was blackness.
What other beauty may be seen, if we look long enough for it?
