I had the absolute privilege of photographing this little doll on her 1st birthday today!! It was apparent that, already, this little girl likes her music! When she got a bit fussy, all it took was some music and she was smiling and dancing again! She knows what we sometimes forget: sometimes you just gotta dance!

How do I sum up such an amazing Homecoming Day here in Valley City? I could not choose one photo, so I give you two. We live in a pretty awesome community, one that elects the biggest Bison fan on earth as homecoming king, and allowed him to play in the 3rd quarter. Opposing team Jamestown congratulates him on his touch down and the crowd went wild. There are some pretty fantastic young men among us..

Its that time of year when the river becomes mystical. Warm days and cool nights create dreamy morning with the fog rising off the water as the sun begins to climb. I cross this river many times a day and it is constantly changing.

Another awesome senior shoot today! Tyler exuded that quiet, gentle ruggedness with just a hint of a sly smile. His Mom was along and it was a great time with both inside and and outside shots, complete with some with his rocking VW bug! I went to shoot some H-iLiner tennis this afternoon. I shot through the fence for a while. When I went to edit, I realized how much I liked how this looked. I love happy little accidents. How many times in life do little accidents happen that happen to be blessings in disguise?

Makenna Taylor avoids a flag pull to score the winning touchdown for the Senior Ladies! The Junior/Senior Powder-Puff game was hard fought and there was nothing fluffy about these ladies!! Tonight kicked off Homecoming week in Valley City and it is sure to be a fun week!
