Day 323
Sometimes the best pictures are the completely unplanned ones....
These two just make me laugh!

Day 322
Oh Ladies...
Losing hurts. I'm not going to try to convince you it doesn't, because it does.
But if you are going to lose, going to the 5th set and bringing it to a 2 point difference is the way to do it.
I'm just the old lady watching most of the game behind a camera, but I am going to go on a limb and speak for EVERYONE who watched your game: we LOVED watching you play.
You played with heart, grit, skill and NO-ONE can say you could have given more, because you left it all out there.
And probably have the bruises to prove it.
You are a TEAM, in the truest sense of the word, and it has been so FUN watching you play.
To the four Seniors: You are LEADERS and your characters are helping to set a standard our Little-Liners look up to and will emulate.
Congratulations ladies, you have made this town proud... Hi-Liner Proud!!

Day 321
Dig Deep.
And they did.
But the Hi-Liner Ladies came up short in the semifinal round.
However, what they lacked in points on the scoreboard, the team and the fans made up tenfold in their sportsmanship.
This scrappy little team towered over their competition in their grit, and the fans were just simply classy.
Onto tomorrow Ladies, you got this.
#Hiliner pride. #rolltrain.

Day 320
Homecoming.
316 days away from home ends in an embrace.
Thank you Darin for your sacrifices.
Thank you Tanya for the asking me to capture this.
Welcome Home Soldier.

Day 319
There was so much gray today... gray skies, gray wind, gray news... I needed to find some beauty somewhere among it all. Walking through the yard with my head tucked to avoid the biting air, I lifted it to see this pop of color in front of me. Dried hops remain, having turned a vibrant orange. I have never before seen them this color. Starting a soft melon green, they dry to a pale yellow. But today they showed that with time, they became even more beautiful.

Day 318
Sometimes a fog will settle over a vessel's deck and yet leave the topmast clear. Then a sailor goes up aloft and gets a lookout which the helmsman on deck cannot get. So prayer sends the soul aloft; lifts it above the clouds in which our selfishness and egotism befog us, and gives us a chance to see which way to steer.

Day 317
21 Seconds at the Hospital Bridge.
That was the exposure length of this photo.
It was long enough to catch a single car passing over the bridge.
Photography is so amazing.
Some images are a moment caught in 1/8000 of a second
Some, like this, take over 20 seconds to capture.
Regardless, time is always passing, so make the most of your seconds.
