Day 78: Thirsty
This plant is constantly thirsty. I get behind in watering it so often.
And though it is neglected, and must endure imperfect conditions,
I see it refuses to be stopped from blooming.

Day 77: Abundance
I'm on the floor, flat on my back.
My back is screaming at me since I tweaked it at ballet rehearsal today.
The late evening sun is shining through the window and it illuminates him.
He is my abundance.
Full of love,
Abundant with humility and growth.
Generous with patience for me and my crazy ideas.

Day 76: FREE
Many moons ago, we lived out of this country for almost two years.
Stepping off that last flight, to come home, I was filled with a gratefulness that is only known to those who have lived abroad for a time.
We may have issues in this country, but one thing remains:
We are free.

Day 75: Creation
It is one of my creations.
The end product of raw imagination.
I really have no idea what the end result will look like when I start, just a general idea.
I think I have made my favorite, until I make another.
It has taken me a long time to fully accept that through various mediums,
I was born to create.
(p.s. if you want to see this in action, stay tuned for information re: our spring Ballet)

Day 74: Foundation
These little feet are learning the foundation of dance:
BALLET.
A form of dance that has been studied for six centuries.
They are also learning lessons about friendship, dedication, and fun.
The screams of delight and giggles that fill the room remind me we were made to dance, laugh and play with abandon.

Day 73: Promise
To my children,
to young people,
to my younger self:
The sun will set and the shadows will get long. There will be fences and obstacles in your way. The nights may, at times, seem very dark.
This I can promise.
And I promise the sun will rise, and the new day will bring light and new opportunities.
Whatever you feel is only temporary and will not last forever.
I promise.

Day 72: Guide
It stands back among the trees, guiding passerby's to....?
I'm sure one of my readers can fill me in on the history of this huge sign.
What an amazing metaphor for life; we are often are pointed in a direction we don't yet know the destination.
Just enjoy the journey, and watch for signs to guide you.
