Day 113
An up-close view of my living room floor.
We are a home where small children live. I do not try to hide it.
The fridge is plastered with colorful drawings and the floor is scattered with toys.
Always.
When I get frustrated, I try to remember I will blink and I'll have a perfectly manicured home, full of snacks, matching socks and an endless supply of tape and easily found scissors,
and it will be all too quiet.

Day 112
I walked through the yard and came across this contrast.
Life and Death
Beginning and End
Thriving and Declining
The full circle of life in one single image.

Day 111
I was all set to post an amazing fog photo today,
Until THIS happened.
Sometimes I know I've captured magic.
The lighting and the subject collide, and I KNOW I've caught something amazing.
This happened several times this evening with "my girls."
These
(young enough to be my daughters)
dancers are athletes, don't doubt for a second that they are not.
They are dedicated, strong young women I am lucky enough to share the floor with.
Thanks Ladies, for everything!

Day 110
There will be clear skies after every pouring rain.
Regardless of how dark the clouds, or how heavy the rain,
it will not last forever.
The skies will eventually be blue
and the sun will eventually rise and shine brightly.
Remember this when you find yourself in a downpour.

Day 109
A fly in supper.
I had no idea what a Turkey Vulture was until I saw one in my ditch today.
I will confess... I moved the dead racoon off the road into the ditch for this exact reason after seeing a Bald Eagle flying around this morning.
You really can learn something new everyday!

Day 108
Craftsmanship and Details.
We are a culture of disposable goods where these things rarely seen anymore.
I'm slow to agree that quick, fast and new is truly better...
