Day 148
I came into my Hubby's life when this guy was about 6 months old.
As his Uncle and Aunt, it has been pretty cool to see him grow and transform into the pretty awesome man he is now.
Congrats Carter! You will go so far in life!!

Day 147
Why are there so many songs about rainbows
And what's on the other side
Rainbows are visions
But only illusions
And rainbows have nothing to hide
So we've been told
And some choose to believe it
I know they're wrong, wait and see
Some day we'll find it
The rainbow connection
The lovers, the dreamers, and me.
-The Rainbow Connection, Kermit The Frog.
This song will get me.
Every.Single.Time.

Day 146
North Dakota
A patchwork quilt of greens, browns, blacks and blues.
Land punctuated with wind towers.
After many years and many moves,
It is the land that called us back home.

Day 145
They have taken an oath to do their best, and to do their duty to God and their country.
Today they spent hours honoring those who served our country and are no longer with us.
I am proud to know these fine young men.

Day 144
In this great state, when you get off the beaten path, you can be amazed at what is found.
A trip to Oaks today was full of beautiful architecture. This old bank is a testament to a different time... one full of tiny details and wonderful craftsmanship.
Take the road less traveled. You may be surprised at what you discover.
