Day 212
This may be one of the last four generation photos we have the opportunity to take.
The Patriarch is over 104 years old, and time is finally starting to take its toll.
We are so grateful for just one more opportunity to see him, and to record the moment.

Day 211
Elk over Medora.
They gave quite the pre-show before the Musical started.
Such amazing creatures!

Day 210
A dinner with old friends turned into a family shoot this evening!
Such a lovely family and beautiful children!

Day 209
Our evening stroll around the yard brought us upon Gravy (named because she was gray... and Teddy was about 6.)
Her history is muddled... coming to us sometime around one of the floods in '09 or '10.
She is our great gray hunter. Our prairie tiger. Our killing machine #1.
Almost every day she leaves (because I am too slow/dumb/lame to kill my own) a treasure for us on the deck or doorstep.
Don't tell the other feline fur-children but she is my favorite.

Day 208
Ripples.
Waves.
They are everywhere, including life.
Sometimes I just have to hang tight and ride them.

Day 207
Creativity runs amuck during the cookie decorating contest at Crazy Daze in our small town. Though it is called "Daze," it is one day, and noone has really ever been able to explain to me, or the kids, this contradiction. Anyway, it was a fun day and one we look forward to every year!

Day 206
I saw a flutter on the wilting flowers. The moth was diligently working, sucking whatever pollen remained. The fading flowers make me sad as I realize that the end of July is almost here and summer will be winding down soon.
