Day 301
I don't like to bake. Baking is too precise. Its' chemistry is too controlled. And, I seem to get flour e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e.
But I love to cook.
Tonight the Hubby came home to this... seared Tuna steak, garlic Parmesan mashed potatoes, and roasted asparagus and scallions with almond crumble.
Food. I like food.

Day 300
Day 300. DAY THREE HUNDRED!!!! That is crazy! I can't believe I have gotten this far!
Today I give you Rapunzel, and the proper use of a frying pan... as a weapon.
I'm thankful my daughter asked me for a costume and I got to live in my happy place for a few hours, doing raw creation of a costume.
Happy Friday, everyone!!

Day 298
I am trying to be still these days to allow my true direction to reveal itself. I laid in the grass on my belly and watched the spider webs dance in the soft breeze. It was magical, and had the sun not been just right to make them gleam, I would not have even noticed them.
The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider's web. - Pablo Picasso

Day 295
I honestly don't remember an autumn in the last years, since we moved back to ND, that the colors have been this intense, for this long. Usually they leaves turn and we get gale force winds for a straight week, blowing them all to the ground. But this year, I have seen trees turn deep shades that I have never witnessed before, like this, our Bing Cherry tree. The colors are mesmerizing and magnificent.
But then again, maybe I've just never taken the time to notice before...
