Day 120
18 years ago today, a guy I loved asked me to go on an airplane ride.
A ring and a "yes" later, we landed.
Today, this guy got his first airplane ride.
After we landed and the second my Hubby cut the engine after stopping , we all heard a very loud
"I WUVED IT!!" from him.
I could never have imagined the adventures we would have, that began with that spring flight,
18 years ago.

Day 119
Another day, another 265 photos shot.
This is the 3rd year I have done ballet photos and these sessions are some of my most favorite to shoot.
Movement and art collide, and sometimes I am lucky enough to capture it.
These sisters are a dynamic duo and have an ability to drop into character that is rare to see at their age.

Day 118
Small Town, Big Money.
Tonight was our auction fundraiser for our local college.
It was a "game" theme.
And wow, did we show support.
I heard at one point the funds raised were over $90,000!!
I love how this community shows support!

Day 117
The night has a thousand eyes,
And the day but one;
Yet the light of the bright world dies
With the dying sun.
The mind has a thousand eyes,
And the heart but one;
Yet the light of a whole life dies
When love is done.

Day 116
APRIL 26...
This is the day the Lord has made and I TRIED REALLY HARD to rejoice in it.
God has a wacky sense of humor...

Day 115
My dear friend Rebecca sent me this quote she had found and I absolutely loved:
why did she make things?
well, she enjoyed it, of course;
but it also somehow
helped her remember
who she was
and where she came from.
-Amy Rubin Flett
When I see her in the midst of creating, which can occupy her for hours,
I wonder if she realizes that she carries with her those women who have created before her?

Day 114
The first year teen (tween) ballet group.
Full of drive, passion, humor and more skill than you can imagine.
I love these ladies.
