Day 247
They are growing.
Changing.
One minute I am belly laughing at their developing humor and keen observations.
The next I want to scream in frustration from their increasing "independence" and their incessant need to touch each other until someone is in tears.
But they are here, on this earth, poking around in water, with us.
God help me never take that fact for granted.

Day 246
This way.
Or that.
Whichever way, it doesn't matter, as long as you follow your heart.

Day 245
I am 2/3 done with The Intention Project. I can not believe it is September 1st already. All the fallen apples remind me that the seasons are in full change. Though some may see these as waste, I know they will provide sustenance for the deer and other animals long after the green grass is gone. There is a strange beauty in this carpet of fallen apples.

Day 244
The Painted Lady Butterfly sat and surveyed me as I inched toward it on my belly through the grass. The colors of its wings popped against the surrounding wind blown greenery. I am always amazed at the seldom seen underside of these butterflies, the pattern and colors being more beautiful than the topside. Many of us have beautiful seldom seen sides...

Day 243
"Here sleeps a little girl
with a head full of magical dreams,
A heart full of wonder,
and hands that will shape the world."
A newborn shoot this evening. It was wonderful! Thank you God for allowing me to do my calling!!

Day 242
Neon along the old highway.
It punches the night, beckoning passerbys to stop for libations.
We ignored its' siren song and crossed the street, opting for gas station ice tea and pretzels.
We left it to glow for another.

Day 240
The candle lighting ceremony of the Boy Scout Court of Honor. It is such a cool experience watching these boys grow and morph into young men. I am so proud of my boy, er, young man.
