Day 181

Day 181

This is the camera that ignited my passion for photography over 25 years ago.  It sits upon the deck where emphatically, and in front of witnesses (one of them ordained) stated I was NOT going to do photography.  I felt then that the advent of digital photography made everyone and their dog a photographer. Day 177

Day 177

It is probably responsible for eating holes in my plants... but up close, under a macro lens, it is pretty amazing.  It's shell reflects the late evening sun and tiny legs defy gravity holding it upside down on a stem. There is an entire world waiting to be discovered when we look closely.
