Day 190
Those blue eyes!!!
I photographed this little guy a year ago, along with his infant brother, and this year they had me both running! It was such a fun shoot and how lucky am I to see how they have grown over the past year!
One of the coolest parts of this vocation is following families and seeing how they grow! It is my privilege to be able to capture a small part of the journey!

Day 189
Life in the vast lane.
Lights of the evening I-94 traffic captured with long exposure.
I love the surreal effect of long exposures.

Day 188
The moon rises above the calm Lake Ashtabula. I find myself most calm and relaxed around water. It is no surprise my Zodiac sign also aligns with water as my element.... and turquoise is my happy color. Interesting how all that works.

Day 186
Gravity cut short their lives.
There was four of them.
Two had hatched, and two were unhatched.
The pipe that the nest had been built upon had given way, and I found them scattered on the floor today.
Momma bird was no where in sight.
Mother to Mother, my heart broke for her and the little ones that never had a chance.

Day 185
Happy Independence Day America!
I want to thank our forefathers for their treason and rebellion.
Solid work guys!
I'm forever grateful!

Day 184
8:40pm and I am starting supper.
This is how we roll around here in the summertime.
My hubby keeps farmers hours when he is home, milking every last bit of daylight out of our long summer days. When he is working, we stay on that schedule since it coincides when he will arrive home from his commute.
No one complains as they play until the sun sets and the stars start to come out.
I love summer.
